Props for Engagment Photos Using Cricut

A couple of months back I was asked by my good friend Michelle to do some props for her Engagement Photos. I jumped at that opportunity and I must say I'm so happy by how it came out. I totally loved it. I used the elegant edges cricut catridge, Story Book & Opposites Attract; I also distress Ink for the edges.

Take a look at how Romantic and Beautiful these pictures are. Congrats to the Happy Couple and for their kindness, support and encouragement.

For My Beautiful Granny!!!

My Granny which we call Fanita always held a great chunk of my heart her passing was and still is hard. At times I still get very emotional and break down. I ran across another blogger Velma at creativelyouttacontrol.blogspot.com her mom had recently passed away and I found something so touching that gave me so much inspiration to work on a canvas to display in my home. The words that she displayed under her mom picture made me see someone passing in a different way.

Fill not your hearts with pain and sorrow,
but remember me in every tomorrow.
Remember the joy, the laughter, the smiles.
I've only gone to rest a little while.
Although my leaving causes
pain and grief, my going has eased
my hurt and given relief.
Do dry your eyes and remember me
not as I am now, but as I used to be,
because I will remember you all
and look on with a smile.
Understand in your hearts I've only
gone to rest a little while. As long as
I have the love of each of you
I can live my life in the hearts of all of you

So I want to remember my granny is her most Diva-ish look. I created this Layout using Webster Pages Hollywood Paper and added ribbon and bling for a perfect vintage/modern look.

I know pics are a lil dark i will get better at pics I promise :)

Where have I been????

Hello World,

I have been missing for a couple of months, okay maybe 10 months lol! but I thought I'd give blogging another shot, and really try this time around. The time I spent away was used very well so I wanted to share with all of you what I was up to these last couple of months. Ready here we go.

These are some roses I learned to do with the Wilton Books.

The second set of pictures was a Lego Ninjago Cake that I worked on for my Nephew Brandon, He knew what he wanted and he wasnt afraid to tell me. He said Titi Mayra I want this so I did my magic I think I did pretty good.

My moms Bday is during the summer so we had a small Luau Party for her, and I was in charge of the cake. I made some Tiger Lillies from Gumpaste then 2 Tier covered with cookies to give it that Luau Effect.

The next cake I worked on was a Basketball, this was a challenge I bought the round cake pans from Wilton but it was too small, so we had to improvise I used 2 oven safe glass bowls and even though I was praying that they would crack. I made a faux wood floor to go with the basketball theme. Most of the lettering was done with my Cricut Cake Machine that my wonderful Hubby got me when I asked him for another dog. lol (wonder how many times I can use that)

On a paper crafting note I made this Halloween Wreath with my Cricut Expression 2-Anniversary Edition Machine I love it. I used the Mini Monsters Catridge. Super Cute!!!

Last but not least on the update- My Niece Gabby Turned 3 in October and her Theme was Mickey Mouse. With the Help of my Cricut Cake Machine I came up with this. So lovely my best work yet. I'm so proud of this one.

See told you guys time well spent.

Goal - Organization

One of the first things that I wanted to do this New Year was make my small scrap space work for me. So with the help of my sis we re-organized my closet. My sis altered this "Imagine" sign to put on the front of my door, still matches the decor of the house and it a lil of my personality which is bottled up inside that door. LOL.

This pic shows how my door is holds my ribbon glimmer mist, buttons, and all other embellies.

Inside of my closet pretty neat right top shelves hold my cardstock, on the left are all my pattern paper my cricut machine is nice and stored.

So I have this entrance corner that was just so plain, so me and my sis hot glued my layouts to a 12x12 canvas. It feels good to have my work shown at home. Now as you come in is more inviting and warm.
